Back in 2009, during a Metallica concert, the band’s vocalist and guitarist, James Hetfield, did something special. He paused the show to bring his youngest daughter, Marcella Hetfield, on stage. Marcella was just 7 years old at the time.
James, along with the entire audience, sang “Happy Birthday” to Marcella, making it a memorable moment for her. After the birthday song, Marcella played with some beach balls on stage while her father and the band performed one of their classic hits, “Seek and Destroy.” It was a heartwarming and unforgettable experience for everyone present, combining the raw energy of a Metallica concert with a touching family celebration.
