When it comes to heavy metal concerts, peaceful sounds are never an option. They are always loud, powerful, and are filled with intense moments. One can feel discomfort or fear when they hear the powerful metal voice, and that’s what happened during Disturbed’s concert.
The band is known for The Sound of Silence and Down With the Sickness was on their tour Take Back Your Life Tour, where the lead vocalist David Bradman encountered a little girl as their audience.
David Bradman witnessed a little girl in the crowd being scared. He then quickly stopped singing and went to comfort the title girl. He went to the front and said; “I’m very proud of you, you’re awesome. You’re welcome. Are you ok? What’s your name darling.”
The band then shared their beautiful encounter with the little girl on their TikTok which was captioned as; “Everyone who comes to a DIstuvred concert is welcome and accepted and loved.”
The girl stated her name as Sophia. David then encouraged the crowd to say hello to Sophia. He then explained how he loved to see people from different backgrounds attending his concert.
He said; “This little girl has been singing her heart out the entire show. She knows so many of the songs, I saw you singing ‘The Sound of Silence’ along with me. I love that. I have my son up there right now. It should be a family affair. What’s the worst thing a child is going to encounter? A little bit of profanity? We live in a world where there are so much more vile thing in it than profanity There’s a time and place for everything darling, you’ll come to learn that one day”
He continues; “It doesn’t matter where you come from or who you are, all of us came here tonight for the same reason. All of us came here tonight because the world is hard, life is hard, and you come here to take your burdens and to set them down.” David explained to the fans how everyone was united in the show, and how they fell in love with the song for various reasons.
David then directly spoke to Sophia and told; “Darling, we may be dark, but let me share a secret with you: sometimes darkness can show you the light.”
