The Voice always welcomes new talents and voices to their platform and some are true gen, like Jørgen Dahl Moe
During The Voice Norway 2022, Jørgen Dahl Moe made his appearance on the stage with his acoustic guitar and mesmerized the entire audience. A young handsome boy with his reversed baseball cap appeared and did a cover of “Dancing in the Dark” by Bruce Springsteen.
Who is Jørgen Dahl Moe?
Raised on the outskirts of Sandefjord, Andebu, Jørgen Dahl Moe lived in the beautiful seaside of Norway. Moe got into music when he was a kid, he learned his first instrument guitar when he was only five years old.
He was also fond of writing his own songs. Jorgen went to Sandefjord Upper Secondary School and joined the dance, music, and drama program. He took singing classes for over two years with his teacher Kristin Vold Nese.
On the other hand, Moe also loved sports, especially football. He even participated in a local football club in 2009 and won the Melodi Gran Prix afterward.
Moe also participated in multiple local concerts and festivals where he would perform his own music. He even made his debut single “I Never Had You” in 2018.

The 25-year-old demolished the blind audition and won the hearts of everyone. This was not the first time that Moe had been on a performing stage. In 2009 when he was only 13, Moe took part in a televised singing competition and even won the Melodi Grand Prix Junior.
If you’re wondering what kind of competition it is, The Melodi Grand Prix is a singing competition for young singers. Moe was quite talented since he was a child and he had also written a song, “Din Egen Vei” which translates to “Your Own Way” in English.
His song topped the Norwegian album charts and stayed at the top for weeks. Now, he was in front of the judges and singing Into The Limelight by Bleu Springsteen.
As his performance gets to the end, the audience and judges applause for him. He even made Judge Matoma shed tears. His performance was heartwarming and impressive.
The fans simply loved the mesmerizing voice of Moe. If we look at the video that was posted on YouTube in 2022, we can only find positive comments. We can find people praising him, “One of the best covers I’ve ever heard. Simply brilliant. Simply fantastic. Excellent English, tone, and tempo. Memorialize Bruce Springsteen”.
People just couldn’t hold themselves for commenting on how good his performance was. His voice couldn’t fit any more perfectly for the Bruce Springsteen cover.
Moe continued to mesmerize the audience with his performance as he stepped forward into The Voice. We can already tell by his cover of “Always on My Mind” that he was the favorite singer of the nation.
It was almost certain that Jorgen Dahl Moe was going to win the competition and he didn’t fail us. He was announced as the winner of the seventh season of The Voice Norway.
