Everybody’s favorite gig stories are back, along with live music: touching accounts of gifted young people who perform alongside their electric guitar idols in front of full houses, wow the audience with their seamless skills and potential to become stars on stage.

Most people walk into a Green Day concert expecting to walk away with some great memories. That’s everyone who goes for it but for an 11-year-old, it was something else, as he walked away with one of Billie Joe Armstrong’s guitars. Juul was unexpectedly approached by Billie Joe Armstrong to join him on stage for an unplanned jam session. Juul was shocked to see that he had taken Armstrong’s guitar with him when he left the stage.

During their concerts, Green Day is well known for their spontaneous interactions with their fans. Juul’s experience was not unlike when the band invited teenage fan Thomas Bulvan on stage at a gig in Chicago.

Armstrong asked Juul whether he knew three chords after catching his eye from the front row. After verification, he was called up onstage and given a guitar. Juul’s quick but intense jam session demonstrated his powerful rock and roll stage presence.

Juul got Armstrong’s attention and was asked if he knew three chords. The boy answered positively and then, he was brought on the stage. Juul had a short jam with the band and showed off his moves as he was playing the guitar. You can watch the video down below.

If you’ve ever been on the stage, you know how nervous you can feel before the audience. But fear not, Juul was not intimidated by the audience and rocked the show. He had a great smile throughout the performance. Juul also screamed and jumped up and down before going offstage.

The video with Juul was a big success online which attracted more than 8 million views on different platforms. Just like Juul, many other fans also cried at the sight and added comments saying that Billie has a big heart.
