KISS Fans Get Hope as Paul Stanley Hints at New Album

Rock legend Paul Stanley has hinted that KISS may return to the studio to record new music. While the band officially ended touring with their “End of the Road” tour in 2023, Stanley said that making new music is still “very possible” and even “probable.”

Stanley shared that he usually writes songs only when a project is planned. This suggests he has already started working on new material. If the music is released, it will likely stay true to KISS’s classic style, focusing on themes that never go out of fashion.

He explained that even as the band members grow older, the message of KISS music can remain powerful. Topics such as freedom, confidence, and enjoying life are still meaningful today. These ideas have always been part of the band’s identity.

The news also comes as KISS prepares to celebrate the 50th anniversary of their famous live album Alive! (KISS), which will be released as a special deluxe edition box set.

Remembering Ace Frehley

Stanley also spoke about the late original guitarist Ace Frehley, who helped shape the early sound of KISS as the character known as the “Spaceman.”

Frehley passed away at age 74 after suffering injuries from a fall. His family made the difficult decision to remove him from life support after doctors confirmed there was no chance of recovery.

Although Stanley and Frehley had a complicated relationship over the years, Stanley openly acknowledged Frehley’s importance to the band’s history.

Along with bassist Gene Simmons, Stanley released a statement describing Frehley as an “essential and irreplaceable” member during the early development of KISS.

Stanley later said that the band’s success was built on the work of its original members. He emphasized that KISS would not have become a global rock phenomenon without Frehley’s contributions.
