After a four-year hiatus, Bon Jovi is set to embark on their highly anticipated “Forever Tour” in 2026. This marks the band’s first major tour since frontman Jon Bon Jovi underwent vocal cord surgery in 2022. The tour not only celebrates the band’s resilience but also coincides with the release of their collaborative album, Forever (Legendary Edition).
A Long-Awaited Comeback
Jon Bon Jovi’s vocal challenges began in 2022 when he experienced atrophy in one of his vocal cords, a condition that threatened his singing career. The singer underwent a specialized procedure called medialization thyroplasty, which involved implanting a device to restore function to the weakened cord. The recovery process was grueling, likened to marathon training, requiring extensive rehabilitation and daily vocal exercises.
Reflecting on his journey, Jon expressed, “I’m not that applause junkie. I do it for the joy, and I do it for the art… If you couldn’t do it from a place of joy, what’s the motivation?” His determination to return to performing underscores the profound connection he has with his music and fans.
Tour Dates and Locations
The “Forever Tour” will commence in July 2026 with four consecutive nights at New York’s iconic Madison Square Garden (July 7, 9, 12 & 14). The band will then head overseas for three major stadium shows:
Edinburgh, Scotland – Murrayfield Stadium on August 28
Dublin, Ireland – Croke Park on August 30
London, England – Wembley Stadium on September 4
These performances are expected to be a celebration of the band’s enduring legacy and their renewed vigor.
