Legendary rock bands Lynyrd Skynyrd and Foreigner have teamed up for a major North American co-headlining tour in summer 2026, called the Double Trouble / Double Vision Tour.
Tour Dates & Details
The tour will hit 19 cities, starting on July 23, 2026, in Atlanta, GA, at the Ameris Bank Amphitheatre.
It’s set to wrap on August 29, 2026, in Rogers, AR, at the Walmart AMP.
Special guest Six Gun Sally will join for all the co-headline dates.
An artist presale begins on November 18, 2025 at 12:00 PM local time.
General public tickets go on sale Friday, November 21, 2025, at 9 a.m. local time (or 10 a.m. in some reports).
VIP packages will also be available, including premium seating, backstage tours, photo ops, and exclusive merch.
What the Bands Are Saying
Foreigner’s bassist Jeff Pilson said:
“The energy the band has felt knowing we’ll be touring with Skynyrd this coming summer has been electric. Two bands with plenty of iconic songs, dueling guitars, double trouble and double vision are gonna set each and every stage on fire! No question this will be the go-to event of the summer!”
Johnny Van Zant, lead singer of Lynyrd Skynyrd, added:
“I’m excited to share the stage with Foreigner and hear all their amazing hits! I’ve always been a fan, and I believe the audience will love this tour. Lynyrd Skynyrd and Foreigner together — it doesn’t get much better than that. See y’all in 2026!”
Band & Lineup Context
This tour comes as Foreigner approaches its 50th anniversary in 2026.
Lead singer Kelly Hansen recently played his final shows with the band (in October), and Luis Maldonado, who joined in 2021, stepped into vocal duties. Jeff Pilson described this transition as “seamless” and natural.
Lynyrd Skynyrd has also been reflecting on its legacy: the band released the final concert recorded with their late co-founder Gary Rossington (who died in 2023), captured at the Ryman Auditorium in 2022.
Johnny Van Zant mentioned that Skynyrd had written other songs with Rossington before he passed, and “we will leave that door open for the future” for possible new material.
